Frequently Asked Questions
What's included in the $10 day pass?
The day pass gives you access to the Camp Ziegenhorn grounds from 8 am to 10 pm — walking trails, picnic areas, fire pits (rental fee applies), the creek, and the pond. Fishing is also a $10 day pass for non-overnight guests. Great for a single afternoon or a family outing.
How much is electric hookup at the campsites?
Electric hookup is an optional add-on for both tent and RV/trailer sites at $10 per day. Note that electrical hookups are very limited — if hookups are full when you arrive, generators are welcome.
What's the difference between weekday and weekend cabin rates?
Cabin weekday rate (Sunday through Wednesday) is $60/night for 2 persons. Weekend rate (Thursday through Saturday) is $90/night for 2 persons. Both include A/C, mini fridge, covered porch, and access to all grounds and fishing. Book midweek for the best deal.
How do I pay?
Payment details are confirmed when you call or text (815) 692-0692 to lock in your dates. Steve, Calvin, or Lori will walk you through it.
What's your cancellation policy?
Cancellation terms are discussed when you call to confirm your reservation. We try to be as flexible as possible, especially for weather-related cancellations. Reach out and we'll work with you.
Can I bring my dog?
Pets are welcome on a leash. Please clean up after your pet and keep them away from the pond and creek banks. Service animals always welcome. Call (815) 692-0692 for specifics on bringing pets to the cabins.
